25 и 26 мая 2022 г. Центр изучения Вьетнама и АСЕАН приглашает вас в Институт Дальнего Востока РАН на международнуюнаучную конференцию, посвященную 55-летию создания Ассоциации государств Юго-Восточной Азии. Мероприятие проводится совместно с Центром АСЕАН МГИМО МИД, включено в план мероприятий года научно-технического сотрудничества Россия-АСЕАН (2022 г.) Минобрнауки РФ.
Предлагается обсудить полувековые итоги строительства АСЕАНи участия в нем новых членов под углом зрения конвергенции двух разнородных систем с акцентом на современном этапе. В центр анализа поставлены отношения с ведущими державами и диалоговыми партнерами, усилия по созданию архитектуры региональной безопасности. Подлежат рассмотрению процессы, определяющие дальнейшие перспективы развития стран региона – цифровизация, климатические и экологические изменения, сохранение культурной идентичности, управления миграционными потоками в странах АСЕАН.
В программу включены пленарное заседание (открытие) и три рабочие сессии:
Отношения АСЕАН с ключевыми диалоговыми партнерами в макрорегиональном контексте
Актуальные задачи устойчивого развития стран АСЕАН
Опыт и дилеммы региональной интеграции в ЮВА.
Рабочие языки: русский и английский. Форматы: очно и онлайн.
Регламент: доклад – 15 мин., обсуждение доклада – 5 мин.
К участию приглашаются ученые, исследователи, научные сотрудники и эксперты-востоковеды, занимающиеся профильной тематикой.
Желающих принять участие просим уведомить нас об этом до 10 мая с.г., пройдя регистрацию по следующей форме >>>, а выступающих с докладами– прислать текст доклада не позднее 16 мая.
Организаторы оставляют за собой право отбора докладов на конференцию и статей для публикации. Подача заявки на участие и статей для публикации рассматриваются как согласие автора на размещение присланных материалов в электронных библиотеках / платформах / сайтах, включая сайт ИДВ РАН, в открытом доступе.

International conference on «ASEAN on the path of integration: achievements, dilemmas, challenges»
On May 25 - 26, 2022, the Center for Vietnamese and ASEAN Studies invites You to take part in international scientific conference, commemorating to the 55th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The event to be held at the IFES RAS in collaboration with the ASEAN Centre in MGIMO-University, the MFA of Russia. The conference is included in the action plan of the ASEAN-Russia year of scientific and technical cooperation by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Participants are invited to discuss the results of the ASEAN construction and participation of new members from the perspective of convergence of two disparate systems with an emphasis on the current stage. The discussion will touch on issues such as the ASEAN relations with major powers and dialogue partners as well as efforts to create a regional security architecture. It is expected to cover aspects of the processes that determine the future development prospects of the countries of the region – digitalization, climate and environmental changes, the preservation of cultural identity, and the management of migration flows in the ASEAN countries
The format of the upcoming conference includes plenary (the opening session) and three regular sessions:
ASEAN relations with key dialogue partners in a macro-regional context
Current sustainable development challenges for ASEAN countries
Experience and dilemmas of regional integration in Southeast Asia.
The working languages are Russian and English. The conferences will be hybrid either in person or online.
Time limit: report – 15 minutes, discussion of the report – 5 minutes.
We are pleased to welcome scientists, researchers and orientalist experts dealing with the subject of the conference. Those wishing to support the discussion on above-mentioned issues please register to attend before May 10 2022. The speakers are requested to send the text of the report no later than May 16.
The organizers reserve the right to select reports and articles. Submission of an application and sending articles for publication are considered as the author’s consent to placing the sent materials in electronic libraries / platforms / sites, including the IFES RAS website, in the public domain.
